This was a day full of joy, surrounded by love and with music as the cherry on the cake.

From the moment we arrived at the place these guys were getting ready, we felt good! Elizabeth’s preparations took place in the house she grew up – and what a stunning place it was! Every corner we turned there was a piece of her story. It’s always such a privilege to be given the honour of seeing a glimpse into people’s lives and capturing it for them. Elizabeth was so relaxed on the day – enjoying the moments, the people and the details. She looked amazing in her custom dress + jumpsuit (yep! Under that beautiful dress is a jumpsuit – how cool!) designed by herself and made by her mum!

Xander also fully embraced the day with his not-so-small Scottish family and their interactions were so beautiful to watch! Theirs is a family that supports each other 100% – you can see how much they enjoy being together, sharing the little moments and building memories!

Both families have strong foundations and we could see it as we watched them interacting with each other. This is easily seen in Elizabeth & Xander’s relationship and is a great start for the marriage they are building.

From day 1, this couple was fantastic. They always made sure we knew what was going on and we can’t praise them enough for their excellent communication! Seriously – it makes such a difference!!

We loved every detail of their day: the beautiful choir (their friends) that was present throughout the day, the yellow car, the Scottish notes, their party (what a party!!), the amazing speeches – especially from Xander’s brother, the family feel of the day and simply how everyone felt like they were part of the day. We had such a great time!

We really can’t thank these two and their families enough! Thank you for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a beautiful day! We left with our hearts full!
