When a couple is willing to pick the day for the wedding based on your availability, can you consider them a dream couple?

Lauren and Adam basically flew us all the way from the UK to Texas – US to capture their wedding, and we couldn’t have been more thankful for these two! Their wedding was so beautiful and full of life and great people and we just felt so privileged to be their photographers.

Paul knew Lauren from his time in Texas, so when she got in touch with us about capturing her wedding out there, it really was a no-brainer! We were really looking forward to shooting a completely different type of wedding from what we were used to, and their stunningly designed details and choice of venue did not disappoint. They went for the rustic, industrial vibes of Brik venue in Fort Worth, and we’re sure you can see how perfectly it matched their decor and styling.

It was a fun-filled afternoon of preparations as the girls started the pampering early, while the guys kicked back with a retro gaming session on an N64! Soon after, Lauren and Adam made their way outside for a sweet and intimate first look (our FIRST “first look”!), before heading back in for the ceremony.

We loved the pinwheel layout for their reception tables and the enlisted help of local vendors The Hamburger Man and Steel City Pops.

Our day with Lauren and Adam was made complete with a final set of portraits up on the rooftop. With a setting sun and the Fort Worth skyline as a gorgeous backdrop, it was a great way to cap off our first wedding in the States.

Lauren and Adam are one of those really sweet couples and were up for anything on the day. We pray the very best for them as they continue on their journey together.
